In May, The 7th Grade students partnered with the Salvation Army to pack food boxes for local Burmese refugee families. Students also led activities for the families such as board games and coloring. They even taught basic English through one of the games. Not only did the students participate in service-learning, but they also heard about the many different ways the Salvation Army works throughout Malaysia to provide crisis relief. We hope to continue serving again with the Salvation Army in the future.
