Yes, we are currently accepting applications for the 2026–2027 academic year, which begins on August 5, 2026 and ends on June 4, 2027. We also accept applications and transfers during the school year, provided the student has previously attended another school.

The OIS school year runs from August to June.

Elementary and Middle School students may transfer during weekly intake periods throughout the school year. Mid-year High School transfers may be more challenging, as credit may not be granted for a partial semester. Please contact the High School and University Guidance Counselor for more information.

There is no official application deadline; however, we encourage families to apply as early as possible due to limited seat availability in certain grade levels and programs.

Students requiring a Student Visa should also allow additional processing time, as Ministry of Education approval typically takes 4–6 weeks. Promotions may also have specific deadlines tied to completion of the admissions process.

Grade placement is determined based on the student’s previous schooling, age, and assessment results. Please contact

Yes, OIS assists eligible students with the Student Visa process.

The process includes:

1. Ministry of Education (MoE) approval
2. Immigration approval
3. Visa processing upon arrival in Malaysia

The full process typically begins 4–6 weeks before the student’s start date.

OIS offers Kindergarten (students who are 4 years old by September 1) through Grade 12. Graduates receive an American high school education that prepares them for direct university admission.

Yes, Oasis International School is accredited by The Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC), a globally recognized accrediting organization.

This accreditation means OIS meets established standards for high-quality education, qualified faculty, effective school organization, and student-centered learning. It also reflects our commitment to regularly reviewing student progress, receiving feedback from independent education professionals, and continuously improving our programs.

OIS is also a member of CIS (Council of International Schools).

Yes, OIS provides Learning Support services on a case-by-case basis. Please refer to our Admissions Policy for additional details.

All new families participate in a student orientation prior to the student’s start date. Students also meet with school leadership and pastoral care representatives to help ensure a smooth transition into the OIS community.

New students are supported through regular check-ins, peer buddies, and guidance with schedules and daily routines during their first weeks at school.

Classes take place Monday through Friday from:

• 8:30am – 3:30pm for Elementary School students
• 8:30am – 3:35pm for Middle and High School students

OIS partners with Cezars, an international food service provider headquartered in Japan, to offer healthy and nutritious meals for students.

Students may choose from Asian, Western, and Vegetarian meal options, along with à la carte selections, pastries, and beverages. The cafeteria is halal, nut-free, and free from MSG and preservatives. Allergy awareness systems are also in place to support students with dietary needs.

OIS is not a boarding school. Accommodation arrangements are managed independently by families.
