Welcome to Oasis! We are a community of educators, students, and parents who pursue truth, strive for excellence, and appreciate diversity. OIS offers an American educational program staffed by U.S. certified teachers that is academically challenging, integrated with innovative technology, and centered in developing character and values in our students. Our K4-12 educational program is designed to open doors to universities world-wide. Whether it be on the rugby field, in the classroom, or on a service trip, we want to see our students integrate our core values of Character, Leadership, and Innovation into their daily lives.

About Mr. Benjamin Hale
As the Founding Head of School, Mr. Benjamin Hale has been the driving force behind Oasis International School since its inception. As the New School Project Director, he moved to Malaysia in 2013 to oversee the development and 2018 opening of the OIS campus.
Mr. Hale brings over two decades of international educational leadership experience to the role, with a core expertise in strategic operations, team building, and community development. His extensive background includes an 11-year tenure at Yongsan International School of Seoul, where he held multiple leadership positions, including, Director of Advancement, Athletics Director, and Director of Human Resources.
A lifelong member of the international school community, Mr. Hale grew up in South Korea and graduated from the International Community School in Singapore. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and a Master of Education in Leadership and Supervision. He and his wife, Dr. Jessica Hale, have two children who are proud graduates of Oasis International School.
